Carisma Home is a full-service design studio - based in Miami, Florida specializing in high-end residential projects in the US and the Caribbean. Founder Angie Cobo ushers her clients to a fully executed vision, working to realize their space from start to finish.
Every space is tailored to the client’s needs and is approached with a fresh perspective. Angie’s formal architectural background, together with her innate sense of design, brings together a sense of harmony in every space. She’s drawn to clean, balanced spaces, and pays keen attention to scale and beauty.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Miami in 1998, Angie Cobo began her career in Mexico City working with an international design firm. She eventually began to work independently to focus primarily on commercial projects including design for corporate office spaces and hotel interiors, eventually landing in the stylish high-end residential market in CDMX. Upon returning to the States in 2008, Angie began renovating single-family homes in her hometown of Miami, Florida, applying the unique influences of Caribbean and modern architecture, with her classical training.
Most recently, she collaborated with MacDonald Design Associates to complete an 8,500-square-foot home in Staniel Cay, Exumas, Bahamas.
With the launch of Carisma Home, Angie brings together her wide breadth of experience. Her attention to detail, on-site experience, and network of vendors and craftspeople deliver clients a holistic, efficient approach to each individual project. Additional services include design consulting, owners’ representation, and project management.
